In his 87th year, the artist Michelangelo (1475-1564) is believed to have said, "Ancora imparo"-"I am still learning." Remarkably humble words from the painter of the Sistine Chapel and the creator of the Pieta, the David, and St. Peter's Cathedral in Rome.

We at HMS feel the same way. In fact, we made this phrase our company motto. It is very important to us that our customers feel that we provide the best value money can buy. The principles of our company personally spend a great deal of time planning, guiding and challenging each other to produce the finest quality communities with the most thoughtful living space.

But, we also know that we can do it better. We strive to keep getting better. New building materials, new techniques and improvements in channels of distribution are all ways HMS can bring a better product to market. Michelangelo may have said it, but it still applies as much today as ever.
